What is this?
How Much To Run AI helps you answer the question every tech lead dreads: "Can't we just deploy it ourselves? How much would that cost?"
When your boss hears about a new open-source model and asks you to estimate the cost, this tool gives you a credible number in under 30 seconds — no GPU spec sheets, no cloud pricing pages, no napkin math.
Pick a model, pick a quantization level, pick a deployment path, and you get:
- A one-time hardware cost range (if self-hosting)
- A monthly cost breakdown: compute / electricity / human ops
- A plain-language recommendation you can copy into your report
Why the thinking face?
The logo uses the thinking face emoji (🤔) — because that's exactly the expression on your face when your boss asks "so how much does it cost?"
